Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated July 7, 2026
DeskHQ is free to use and reader-supported. When you buy something through the links on our build pages, we may earn a small commission. Here’s exactly how that works — no fine print.
How we make money
The “Buy” and “Add to cart” links on DeskHQ are affiliate links. If you click one and buy, the retailer pays us a percentage of the sale. That commission is the entire business model — it’s what keeps the quiz free and lets us keep the picks updated.
DeskHQ is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. As an Amazon Associate, DeskHQ earns from qualifying purchases. We may add other retailers’ affiliate programs over time, and the same rules below apply to all of them.
It costs you nothing extra
You pay the exact same price whether you use our link or go to the retailer directly. The commission comes out of the retailer’s pocket, not yours.
It never changes what we recommend
This is the important one. Our picks come from your quiz answers and our own research — the same logic runs for everyone, and it doesn’t know or care which products pay more. We are not paid to feature, rank, or favor any specific brand or product. If a commission ever conflicted with giving you the right pick, the right pick wins. That’s the whole promise of the site.
Why we tell you this
Beyond it being the right thing to do, the U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires websites to disclose affiliate relationships clearly, and so do the retailer programs we belong to. Consider this your clear, up-front notice.
